Increasing Vitamin C Dosage
Author: Sophie.P.
Yesterday was my first day back to the gym. My three pronged approach to healthier living is now fully underway. At the beginning of the new year I vowed to eat healthier meals and watch my food intake, take daily vitamins & supplements to improve my aging process, and last but not least exercise regularly. My workout yesterday was eye opening and today it was hard getting any one of my eyes to open when the alarm sounded to start my day.
I was taking 500 mg of vitamin C but today I think I will order more from DrugNatural.com and, in addition to taking Elderberry Extract, I think I will be upping my daily dosage of vitamin c to 1000mg, especially since there is a flu bug going around my office and I don’t want to come down with it while I am still working on getting exercise into my plan. Vitamin C has been in the fore front of medical news since fresh fruit was the discovered to cure scurvy.
The biggest question I had about vitamin C was whether there was a difference between natural and synthetic vitamin C? The answer I found that according to Linus Pauling, the molecular structure of vitamin C is known, the ascorbate ion, and the body can’t tell the difference between the “synthetic” and that which is produced by nature in plants and animals. DrugNatural.com also has a good article about vitamin C. This is one vitamin that has a wealth of great information written about it. I have listed a few of the many that I found. My take away is that Vitamin C is well worth the effort to take daily, so don’t miss a day.

Increasing your vitamin c in addition to taking the Elderberry extract sounds like a good idea. I just got my son some elderberry extract last night, as he has an important hockey tournament coming up this upcoming weekend and he has had a nasty cough for some time.
