Description: ProstaFlo™ contains a flower pollen extract called Cernitin™,providing a highly concentrated, 20:1 combination of watersoluble to fat soluble flower pollen extracts from theGraminaceae family.Cernitin flower pollen extract ( Secale cereale L.) is derivedfrom a combination of corn, timothy and rye. The pollen isharvested directly from selected plants, and the allergenicouter husk is removed. Cernitin™ is manufactured byGraminex/AB Cernelle. Health Functions: Support For Urinary And Prostate Health: A number ofclinical trials have reported that Cernitin is supportive ofprostate health. Additionally, one multiple-center, doubleblindstudy and a separate clinical evaluation of long-termconsumption indicated that Cernitin flower pollen extractsupported urinary flow with excellent tolerability in malesubjects. An animal study indicated that the water-solublefraction referred to as fraction T60™ in studies, and thefat-soluble fraction, referred to as fraction GBX™ in somestudies, play a synergistic role in modulating urethrasmooth muscle function. The fat-soluble constituentspromote proper leukotriene and prostaglandin productionin vitro. Furthermore, flower pollen extract provides ahealthful spectrum of nutrients, including vitamins,minerals, carotenoids, flavonoids, nucleic acids andenzymes for optimal synergy.

Each vegetable capsule contains:
flower pollen extract (Secale cereale L.) 320 mg.(containing water and fat soluble fractions in a 20:1 ratio).
Servings: Pure Encapsulations recommends 3-5 capsules per day, individed doses, with meals.
Caution: If pregnant or lactating, consult your physician before takingthis product. The pollen extracts used in this product areharvested directly from the selected plants and theallergenic outer husk is removed. While the risk ofallergenicity is low, individuals with a sensitivity to pollenmay still want to be cautious. At this time, there are no known adverse reactions whentaken in conjunction with medications.
