Product Details

Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid found in all cells, but ismost concentrated in brain cells.

Pure Encapsulations PS 100™ contains 95-98% phosphatidylserinederived from soy. There is no detectable GMO material in thisproduct. Hypo-allergenic plant fiber is derived from pine cellulose.

Health Functions:
Memory And Cognitive Function Support: This familiarlycalled brain nutrient supports cognitive function,emotional well being and behavioral performance byrestoring cell membrane composition. It has alsobeen shown to support memory. In a double blindplacebo-controlled multicenter study of 425 individuals,daily supplementation of phosphatidylserine over sixmonths resulted in statistically significant support ofbehavioral and cognitive parameters. In another sixmonthstudy of 40 individuals, phosphatidylserinesupplementation enhanced cerebral metabolism andoutcomes of cognitive training. These findings areconsistent with earlier studies. In a placebo-controlledinvestigation of 149 subjects, the group receivingphosphatidylserine scored higher than placebo inperformance tests related to memory tasks of daily life. Ina trial of 35 subjects, those receiving phosphatidylserineexhibited behavioral support after six months.
